Vikings: Fashion, Housing, Worldview

Hey everyone 💖 Today we're exploring the inner world of the Viking age. Rather than following shipping routes along rivers and coastlines, we're having a look at belief systems and mythology and how that is represented in art, at the colours and functionality of clothes (and some fashionable hair cuts of course) and the outline of villages in Norway and Denmark. The two books I'm using in this video are not in available in English but I recommend having a look at the links below; especially the National Museum of Denmark provides a wealth of info!
