Veliky Novgorod: Medieval History to help you sleep
Hello hello! Today we're exploring the history of Veliky Novgorod, once one of the most important trading spots in Europe. Under the Varengian ruler Rurik, it played an important role in the foundation of the Kievan Rus, and later it hosted the Eastern kontor of the Hanseatic League.
