The French Language

Today we're having a look at the French language and it's fascinating origin. Did you know that the Gauls only picked up Latin after West Rome had already ceased to exist? And while nowadays French might have lost its prevalent position to English, it is still used all across the globe with its number of speakers actually increasing.
